Me

I am composed of a lot of different elements, among them are not only the European background, but also the Native American line. I am Cherokee, officially a card carrying member of the Western Band of Cherokee, and am very proud of that. My moms dad was one of the last original enrollees in 1906, and my grandmother was just missed the enrollment.

I have a BA from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. Tahlequah as and is the Capitol of the Western Band. I attended Purdue and went back to NSU for a Masters in History, and then on to Univeristy of Arkansas to work on a doctorate, never completed!

My interest in Native American jewelry is an outgrowth of my heritage and my education. I have always understood that Silver is a spiritual metal to the Native Americans, and I believe that.

I am in the process of writing a novel, have been for about 4 or 5 years, and I'm hoping it will bring people together, but in the process will probably also tear some away. I will try to write on a regular basis.

FYI TheKeepersSecrets on eBay is one and the same as Sterling Keeper on BISI which also owns These Old Things on Ecrater!
Keeper Sterling is not the same as Sterling Keeper! LOL
If we ocassinally miss the target its not because we don't try! Sterling Keeper tries and tries hard, so please don't give up on us if you think we've missed the target just let us know and we'll make it right!
Please don't confuse Sterling Financial Corp WA with Sterling Keeper. We deal in absolutely totally different products and have a totally different reputation!
I also like Mexican Silver Jewelry and all of the different makers and designers thru the years that comprise it! Many times, I have found a sterling keeper and made it a treasure!
